Executive Vice President and Managing Partner of Ballard Partners, as our Keynote Speaker. José is a government law attorney and consultant, who specializes in representing clients in complex matters involving federal, state, and local government approvals.
Attorney and former four-term state legislator with deep expertise in government affairs. A Columbia Law graduate, José has led major committees, represented South Florida in the House, and built a strong legal career in procurement, international law, and land use. Nationally recognized, he has been named one of the “Top 100” Lobbyists in America and a “South Florida Power 100,” and has received awards for his advocacy on behalf of children. José currently chairs the Zoo Miami Foundation and serves on several nonprofit boards supporting community causes.

Abbie Flaherty

Abbie has worked for the Cone Marshall Group since 2012. In July 2019, she transferred from Cone Marshall Limited in Auckland, New Zealand to Teton Trust Company’s office in Jackson, Wyoming. Abbie is admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor in New Zealand, holding a current practicing certificate, and passed the New York Bar Exam in 2020 while working toward New York State bar admission. She earned her LLB/BA from the University of Canterbury, completing her final semester at the University of Copenhagen.
