Mariano Filippini is a seasoned executive with a passion for sports and a track record of success in both the corporate and entertainment worlds. Armed with a Bachelo’s degree in Business Management from Universidad Torcuato DiTella and an MBA from NYU Stern, Mariano honed his financial acumen during a five-year stint at HSBC before realizing his childhood dream of working in sports. He spent eight transformative years at TelevisaUnivision, where he played pivotal roles in high-profile projects, including the merger between Televisa and Univision. Today, as CEO of the Miami Sharks, Mariano is making history by spearheading the launch of Florida’s first professional rugby team, combining his financial expertise with his passion for sports and entertainment.
